It is very common to think ot light and laser therapy as something to be avoided with cancer patients. However, there is beginning to be more proof that light therapy can actually be helpful with cancer patients. Here is the conclusion of doctors following their study looking at low level laser therapy with patients suffering from head and neck cancer:
"This is the first study to suggest that LLLT may improve survival of head and neck cancer patients treated with chemoradiotherapy." Oral Oncol. 2017 Aug;71:11-15.
